I hear all this bleeting about a guy killed by police and I am baffled, I remember a few years ago a Scotsman got killed by police marksmen for having a Scottish accent and carrying a table leg in a plastic bag. The cartoon suggests that the inquiry is not really going to get at the truth. People have lost confidence in these inquiries, especially if they are held in camera.

I suggest that people would have more confidence if the inquiry were held in The Hague. This would make interference from UK establishment a bit more difficult and would be seen to be impartial. The principal witness should not be granted bail, as it appears that he may have a penchant for having evidence shredded.

By the way, I think the cartoon may owe a little bit to Steve Bell.
